Reflections on Purpose JournalPurpose: your reason to get up in the morning, your spark that engages others, that “thing” that fulfills you. As Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappo’s, would ask, “what makes you happy?”
Every human being comes into this world with a job to do. We spend much of our life unaware of our deep purpose, and are often side-tracked by: · Jobs that deplete us, · Striving towards a vision of “success” that no longer serves us, · Surviving, or · A lifelong search for meaning. The purpose conversation helps us bring more of ourselves to the workplace each day, wherever that workplace is – be it at home raising our children, teaching at schools and colleges, ministering at church, helping communities via non-profits, serving in hospitals, police forces, emergency services, fire stations, or in corporations and small business. This is not a how to book, rather it is a journal to invest in yourself with time, thought, and clarity so that you can take action.
